With that said, what sort of industry jobs might I be able to spin my degree for? Most of my knowledge from my degree is not technical, and my skill set is limited to basic MATLAB, python and other standard lab techniques one would learn while volunteering in a research lab as an undergraduate. I am aware of the rather abysmal state of affairs for prospective PhD students with regard to academic employment, so no need to beat me over the head with that.
